We are a short term missions organization that builds homes for families in need in Juárez and Acuña, México. In four days, volunteer teams transform an empty lot into a complete home. Families served receive a renewed trust in God’s love and faithfulness as volunteers are awakened to the realities of poverty and the importance of sharing God’s love through serving others.

Question: Help Me Find Mission Trips?
I have been looking for something to do lately that would get me out there and helping. I was watching TV and I found “Degrassi INdia” and it really inspired me! I want to go on a mission trip, but I can’t find one! I know there are hundreds but it’s taking me a long time to find one!
Help? It needs to meet certain requirements. It needs to be:
-Inexpensive: I know it’s going to be costly, but my plan is to buy 2 tickets (one for me and one for my aunt) so it cant be like a $ 5000 trip! Lol So anything that’s not TO costly.
-The cost (hopefully) should cover everything (most sites I’ve looked on are that way.) It should cover flights, on ground transportation, hotel/overnight stay, and all that good stuff! If not, that’s fine but…yeah lol.
-Must not have an age limit that goes higher than 15+ This has been my main problem. Everytime I see a good one that i’d LOVE to go to, it’s 18+. I have found a few that are 15+ but they have other problems. I need one that i can actually GO on!! I’m going to look into “Habitat For Humanity” because I know they are the ones who held the mission trip the Degrassi Cast went on, and Luke (a cast member) was only 15 when he went (so hopefully that means theres no age limit!) but he’s also famous, so that matters a lot! Lol
-Can only be 1-4 weeks in length. Can’t be longer than 4 weeks, can’t be shorter than a week! I’d personally love to go for a long time (around a few months to a year) but she’d be leaving young kids behind when we go, and she can’t leave them that long.
-The location DOES NOT MATTER as long as it’s outside the states! I have a prefference of: Africa, Australia, India (biggest prefference), or Canada.
I would really love any sites you guys can offer! I can’t go with a church so please don’t suggest it. The church I go to doesn’t offer any mission trips and I’m not willing to go with another church. Sites would be great help for me! Please and thank you!
Yes, I am. Each country has it’s own problems. I’d LOVE to go to India, it’s my main goal. But it’s going to be a lot harder to get to than Canada would be (price terms).
If I can’t make a difference in India or Africa, I might as well make one in Canada or Australia.
I looked up Habitat For Humanity and looked at “average prices”. India is the most expensive, but i want to go! Its 14+ and I was all excited but apparently their youth “Global Village” program is very expensive. Way to expensive for me to pay for it, especially 2 tickets!
I’m not looking for free at all. Just inexpensive. I am not going to pay $ 8000 for a week. Not gonna happen. But I’d pay the $ 350 each for us to go to Africa, but it’s 18+

Mission trips to Canada? To Australia? You’re grouping two countries with higher quality of life indexes than yours with Africa and India?
