Our community has a wonderful resource that a lot of people have missed – the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. They raise funds to build homes in the community by selling donated building materials and household items. They have everything from plumbing, electrical, flooring, cabinets and doors. Used windows that a lot of people use for crafts. Household items include furniture, book shelves, tables and desks. Lots of things looking for a second life with a new owner. The inventory changes every day and most items are one of a kind so if you see something you like you need to pick it up. They can also use volunteers – so check them out! The ReStore is open Tuesday-Saturday 9-5:00.
